There are approximately 6.2 million lighting columns installed on public roads and footpaths, not to mention sign posts, trafficsignal poles and telecommunication poles.These poles are constantly exposed to external attack from wind, acid rain and or contaminated ground, traffic vibration, salt spray, stray electrical currents and dog urine. deterioration in the structural integrity of a
column. However, Structural Integrity varies from column to column with deterioration rarely visually apparent. |

| Using the results of the Rei-Lux measuring technique, we can provide accurate information about the structural integrity of each column we approve, we issue a certificate of assurance valid for 5 years which offers public liability insurance up to £5 million, covering any damage caused by the column failure within the 5 year period. |
